Social media is a web-based communication tool or apps that connects people all around the world. Most people use social media for entertainment, gain knowledge, and be up to date on current trends. On the other side, businesses, multinational and local companies use social media networks to promote their products or services. In that list, Instagram is in the top 5 most used social media apps worldwide. Whatever may be the use, this article guides you on how to use Instagram on your TV with the Firestick device.
What is Instagram?
Instagram was founded in 2010, and later in 2012, it was acquired by Facebook for $1 billion. After being maintained by Facebook, the platform became more popular. While writing this article, the net worth of Instagram is $102 billion that is 6 times the net worth of Twitter and 5 times the net worth of Snapchat.
Streaming without a VPN exposes your IP address, making you vulnerable to privacy breaches and hacker attacks. Without encryption, your online activities are more susceptible to monitoring by ISPs, snoopers, and the government. Lastly, accessing geo-restricted content may be impossible without a VPN, limiting your entertainment options. Hence, it is recommended to use a VPN.
Of all the available VPNs, I recommend NordVPN if you ever want to watch the desired movies, TV shows, or sports events on your Firestick without risking your privacy. NordVPN is the fastest and best VPN service provider with global coverage. You can now avail yourself of the New Year's deal of 67% off + 3 Months Extra of NordVPN to stay anonymous.
With NordVPN on Firestick, your internet traffic gets encrypted, so your IP and identity stay anonymous. You can stream the desired content while staying away from the government and other online intruders.
- Unlike Snapchat, Instagram is 100% free to use.
- IGTV – An YouTube alternative to share videos only within the Instagram app.
- AR filters – Real-time AR photo and video filters to improve the quality of the content.
- DMs – Direct Messages to friends, families, and brands.
- Live Chat – You can go live anytime and interact with any number of followers.
- Daily Stories – You can share stories to your profile that will disable in 24 hours of publishing.
Instagram is a free-to-use app, and all you need to do is sign up for an account, and you can instantly start using it for free on any of your devices.
